I obtained my law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where I graduated in 1996 with cum laude honors in the Top 6% of my class and made the Dean’s List.
I graduated from Brooklyn College in 1993, and was recognized as summa cum laude with a GPA of a 3.93. I was also awarded Phi Beta Kappa, made the Dean’s List, and graduated from the Scholars Program.
Civic Background
I was always active in the Miami Beach community. I was elected Miami Beach Commissioner in 2019, where I currently serve.
Hobbies
In addition to spending time with my family, I am a sports fan, with a particular passion for baseball. I love to read and I read/listen to two non-fiction books a week on issues relating to politics, urban living, business and economics. I am always on the lookout for books to read, so please let me know if you have any good book recommendations.
