Our Veterans, Our Heroes

This Veterans Day, we honor our military veterans who put their lives at risk to protect our nation. “Freedom is not free” and I am grateful for our men and women and their families who sacrifice everything for you and me.

Foremost on my mind this Veterans Day are the brave Miami Beach Firefighters who are volunteering in Israel during a war for one simple reason, to help others.

I am proud that the Miami Beach Firefighters have endorsed me to be your next Mayor. We are blessed to live in Miami Beach with so many dedicated residents and first responders.

Our Police Department and first responders also deserve our gratitude. I work with our Chief of Police daily and can attest to the dedication and commitment of our finest. As your Mayor, I will work tirelessly with our Police Department and prosecutors to implement my strategies for drastically reducing crime and for high-impact weekends like Spring Break. There is much work to do.

I am ready on day one to hit the ground running. I will tackle our challenges head-on with my mission - my passion - to make Miami Beach the safest and most resident-friendly City in the nation.
