I could not be more proud to have earned SOBESafe’s endorsement. SOBESafe is the leading volunteer organization comprised of local residents focused on reducing crime and improving residents’ quality of life. 

My primary goal as your next Mayor is to reduce crime and enhance our overall quality of life. I am excited that SOBESafe has recognized my dedication and relentless drive as Commissioner on behalf of our residents. Below is an excerpt from SOBESafe explaining why they are endorsing me.

Steven Meiner is the candidate whose record gives us the most confidence that he can meet these objectives. He has demonstrated his focused pro-resident, pro-safety commitment throughout his service as a Commissioner. His relentless, successful record of improving the prosecution of misdemeanors through Police, prosecutorial, and judicial innovations demonstrates his ability to conceive of and implement important but complex initiatives. And his four years as Commissioner have given him the detailed knowledge and experience needed to function effectively as Mayor.
